KNOX•MOOR
KNOX•MOOR / ACADEMIC OFFICE / THE DEVELOPMENT LAB

Learn what nobody
thought to teach you.

For student-athletes, parents, students, coaches, teachers, programs and communities. Preparation can begin before high school and remain useful through college and the next move after athletics.

THE PURPOSE

Access before hype.

People should not need a private consultant just to understand the landscape in front of them. Most Knox•Moor learning and public resources are open. Individualized assessment, development and consulting can be scoped when somebody needs us in the work with them.

THE KNOX•MOOR COURSE OF STUDY

Prepare for the next room.
Then the one after that.

The curriculum changes with the student, but the standard does not. Middle school prepares for high school. High school prepares for postsecondary decisions. College and training prepare for life after the credential. Families learn beside the student instead of being left to guess.

FOUNDATION / GRADES 7–8Get ready before high school starts counting.

Habits, communication, academic ownership, identity, money basics and early pathway exposure. The goal is not to pick a life at 13. It is to arrive at high school able to make better decisions.

BUILD / GRADES 9–10Build the record before the pressure arrives.

Grades, attendance, eligibility, study systems, leadership, career exploration, athletics and a first real understanding of college, trades, military, entrepreneurship and work.

TRANSITION / GRADES 11–12Turn preparation into a next-step plan.

Applications, recruiting, financial aid, scholarships, cost comparisons, career and training pathways, communication, resumes, interviews and a documented transition plan.

LAUNCH / COLLEGE + POSTSECONDARYPrepare for the life after the acceptance letter.

Academic progress, money and debt, internships, networking, career readiness, transfer decisions, professional communication and a plan for life after college, sport or training.

PATHWAYS OFFICE

Learning is useful.
Connection makes it move.

When the answer lives outside Knox•Moor, the Pathways Office is the connection layer: identify the need, verify the path, find the right resource or person, make the connection and follow up. We do not pretend to be every expert. We build the bridge to the right one.
